Basil Brush was formed in 1978 by Tony Weare. In the beginning we were mainly involved in the domestic side of the business, painting houses and flats around Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs. Within 12 months we were working for our first corporate client - a large Melbourne based clothing manufacturer.

In the following years we were to paint and decorate over 50 retail outlets here in Melbourne and interstate. We also did the finishing for the fittings that were eventually to be installed in their shops in the USA & New Zealand.

Throughout this time we maintained the domestic side of the business and at present it still represents the bulk of our work. Our commercial work mainly involves multi unit developments of up to 10 apartments per project.

Basil Brush Project Painters has plenty painting experience. We are the ones you will speak to on the phone, we will do the quote and we will be on the job while your project is completed.
